Over the weekend, I was looking for a way to turn on Intel SpeedStep on my Core 2 Duo-based Desktop PC. Here’s how:

1. Enable Intel SpeedStep in your Desktop’s BIOS.
2. Set your Desktop’s power management setting to “Minimal Power Management.”
