Here’s a true example of an advertisement that is captivating, fun to watch, and memorable. It’s an ad for the Peugeot 206.
The ad starts on a busy Indian street with a guy walking towards an old Ambassador. He gets into the Amby and thrashes it’s front and back against a wall. Next, he gets an elephant’s butt to kiss the bonnet. Finally, he hammers it and welds it into shape. The result of all this exercise: the Amby now looks like the Peugeot 206. There’s more and it’s the best part of the video. I’ll let you discover it for yourself.
A straight 10/10 in my books.
Note: Feel free to pass the link around. In case you could not download the video for whatever reason, just e-mail me (or leave a comment) and I will send it directly.

I like the background sound even more. Bhangra nights, I think.
won’t Ambassador guys sue them
I don’t know how the video leaked out on to the web. It’s up to Hindustan Motors to come out with an equally witty response. Remember the Mountain Dew ads?
I like the ad… but I like the background music even more
Are u sure this video got leaked? Cos i have seen it before on TV. May be I saw it in an ad-related tv show. The music featured in the ad is the slow version of “Husan” by Bhangra Knights vs Husan.
It is a great ad tho.
