On Biryani Merchant

Ever the adventure seekers, I and Goutham decided to give this hotel a try today. It turned out to be one bad adventure. We ordered two vegetarian biryanis – my mind has become too disoriented to even remember their names – and one kebab platter. I don’t think I can write anymore. It was that bad. The food was followed by some liquid called “Sulaimaan tea.” One sip and Goutham was in orbit. He was so disillusioned, he started hearing voices offering more tea and literally ran down the steps. It’s an experience we want to forget.

My recommendation: Avoid this place!

  1. Dude dude dude! I would write a review just the opposite for Biryani Merchant. But tell you where the problem is… just like my other 2 friends who dislike this place – you ordered vegetarian :)

Gotta agree, the vegetarian biryanis here may not be super, but ol buddy ol pal o mine… biryanis are supposed be be non-veg no!

Try their Murg Lasooni or Kachchi Yakni Chicken and then tell me what you think of the place. Actually I better write the review I’ve long procrastinated on. Biryani Merchant ROCKS!! My chickenitarian buddies hear it and the go RIGHT ON! when I say Biryani Merchant.

So give yourself a treat… try their non-veg biryanis next time. And the sulaimani chai is bliss :)

  2. My friend I must say that you don’t have taste of biryani ;) that too you order vegetable biryani & write a blog. You make me laugh. Basically, you appear a play school student to write on restuarants.

  3. Hi there! This article couldn’t be written much better!
Reading through this post reminds me of my previous roommate!
He continually kept talking about this. I am going to forward this information to him.

Fairly certain he’ll have a great read. Thanks for sharing!
