If you find Internet Explorer behaving like a drug addict, here is how you re-habilitate it:

1. Close all open instances of IE
2. Fire up a command prompt
3. Type cd “%ProgramFiles%/Internet Explorer”
4. Type iexplore.exe /rereg
5. Exit the command prompt

You should now find IE behaving itself.
