Customer Service is one thing that needs to improve a great deal in India. Too often a product or service is sold and the customer is conveniently forgotten. Or else, the system is so mis-managed that customer service is only a theoretical term. Imagine then, my surprise today, when I had two excellent instances of customer service within five minutes.
- The first one by courteous BSNL staff who called up to inform me that my application for telephone transfer had been approved and that I could apply for a broadband connection anytime.
- The second one by a very sweet lady at the KSRTC reservation counter on Cunningham Road who went to great lengths in providing me with some required travel information. The contact number for this KSRTC counter is 080 22285795
If this is anything to go by, I would shout “Yay!”
