Bannerghatta National Park has a unique adoption program through which one can adopt one’s favorite animal from a list of fifteen. The amount to be contributed depends on the animal being adopted and ranges from INR 5000 to INR 150,000. Donations are exempt from Income Tax under Section 80C.

The donor in turn is rewarded with a few priviliges:

1. A one year complimentary pass for five people
2. An official certificate of adoption
3. The donor’s name is displayed in front of the adopted animal’s enclosure
