Music Without Borders — How Amazon Can Go One-Up On iTunes
September 27, 2007
Recently, we mentioned that Amazon’s MP3 Download Store got the DRM-free part right but screwed up on the pricing model — the real Achilles heel of iTunes. As it turns out there’s another angle from which Amazon could go one-up on iTunes: extend the offering across more countries. The moment I heard about the launch, I enthusiastically hit Amazon’s MP3 Download Store and eagerly clicked on a “Buy MP3″ link only to be greeted with a “We are sorry… We could not process your order because of geographical restrictions on the product which you were attempting to purchase. Please refer to the terms of use for this product to determine the geographical restrictions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.”

TIC’s Picks: How Can Others Respond To The iPhone
June 29, 2007
Vinaya HS explains why it’s a mistake for other device makers to simply copy the iPhone, rather than leapfrogging it with new innovations (even though he knows that’s where they’re heading). He also plays up the benefit of separating the device from the operator (and ending operator subsidies).

Vinaya,
Not sure if you have responded to Nachiket.
Nachiket,
If this helps….
You have not provided information as to what you are looking for. One thing I can say it “Diversify it”. If you want 100% safe capital go for NSC, Tax excempt bank FD of 5 yrs lock in period, PPF and if you want a little risk, Company bonds or Infra bonds, but dont put in much there.

facts are not complete: 22000 is total salary. we need basic salary for hra exemption. and also if it is one of four major metro or any other city.
i m giving example, you can replace figures to get your answer…
1.
total salary – 22000 pm
basic salary – 8800 pm
hra – 6600 pm
actual – 7000 X 12 = 84000
> 10% – 8800X12=105600X10%=10560. 84000-10560=73440
50% (major metro) – 105600/2 = 53250
exemption would be 73440 and taxable hra wud be 49440
hope this will help…
