For the October Book Giveaway, here’s what I am interested in knowing — “What is your most valuable currency? And why?” For example: Do you believe that “Time” is the most important currency in your life? Or is “Happiness” more important to you than everything else? Or, is it good old “Cash”? I’d also like to know your reasons behind saying so. Interesting perspectives most welcome.
The book on offer is also a very interesting read. Mindless Eating — Why We Eat More Than We Think. I think most of us would have succumbed to such a phase at one time or the other in our lives and this book provides some fascinating insights into our psychology. If not directly applicable to you, you could still read this book and help someone who you know.
To participate, simply leave a comment explaining your responses to the questions above. Remember, the more insightful your response is, the higher are your chances at winning. And don’t forget to leave your email address along with your comment.

My most valuable currency is Information.
If I have right information, at right time, I think I can leverage that to gain substantial benefits.
For me its the ‘Relationship’. Nothing is of value when you don’t have a relevant relation to share it with. Also, a good relationship can get you many of the items which one can list under the most valuable currency. I end this comment with a quote I heard from a movie, which I like a lot: ” Happiness only real when ‘shared’..”.
My most important currency is myself, my body with its perfections, imperfections, my thought process,my emotions, my knowledge, my ignorance and all, simply put, myself.
Myself is the one which makes my life interrsting/frustrating to me and others around me.
Very interesting perspectives!
My most valuable currency is My “CA” Degree which I earned @ 22 (nothing since then) , it does give me a nearly unfair leverage in the Job market as well as a good standing in various parties or meetups etc :)
My most valuable currency is My Peace. Reason being only a peaceful mind can enjoy and experience all/little luxuries that we have in life. According to me, only peace can bring prosperity in life. Goal of all goals in life is peace according to me. Only a peaceful mind can work at its maximum potential.
Hi Vinay,
I think the most valuable currency is Family, Everything that we do revolves around people whom we love and most cases its someone in the family or the entire family.
Basically if you consider your family as the most important currently you cover everything under it, weather its time, money, relationship, peace, happiness, peace or yourself. that’s because if you give importantance to your family you would consider spending quality time with them , for which you make sure that you are think and spend time or rather utilize your time effectively ( manager time better). Similarly all other aspects like you take care of yourself so that you can be with your family to support them and help them and enjoy with them, like wise you would work towards having a healthy financial life foe self and family, built relationship or improve them and so on.
Hi,
I feel the most important currency is having an open mind or being eclectic. With an open mind, you’d be willing to try various things or try out different ways of doing things. You’d recognize, accept, correct your mistakes. Also, you’d be adaptable to whatever challenges that may be thrown at you and find new ways to succeed.
