Today, we will learn the meaning of the word Seeta.
“Seera jata iti Seeta,” meaning “born from the land.” Here Seera means Bhoomi (or Earth). Jata means to be born. Recollect that Seeta was found when ploughing the land (Bhoomi). Hence the name.
