Says Gateway:

“Just say no to DIY [do it yourself] overclocking and let us do it for you! We’ll factory overclock your Intel Core2 Extreme Quad-Core Processor QX6700. Yep, you read that right: factory overclock, which is something that most other major PC manufacturers don’t do.

Overclocking the FX530’s CPU jacks up your clock speed to more than 3.2GHz and drives an overall processor speed increase of 20%. Plus, we’ll even offer our standard limited warranty on any overclocked system, ensuring that you get a stable, overclocked system tricked out for maximum speed.”

Gateway FX-530

Yeah, you really read that correct – this beauty comes factory overclocked! I say it’s a great step from Gateway. Wonder when in the distant future will this trickle down into the Indian market.

Product website: Gateway FX530.

Cool Man !!! This Gateway seems to be doing something really good. They offer some amazing prices on Core-2 Duo laptops too.. But have not got a chance to look at them.
