Since the past one week, I have been busy doing so many things that I haven’t found the time to blog. This isn’t good because writing for the blog ought to have been one of the many things! In this time, I have been witness to another great CRM experience.
Now you already know which laptop you should avoid buying. But do you know which laptop you should buy?
I recommend the one’s from Dell – their CRM is just too good if Darshan’s experience is anything to go by.
Here’s the story.
Recently, Darshan’s Dell Inspiron 630′s battery began to act up. He called Dell’s customer service centre, who promptly couriered a replacement battery and also gave him crystal clear instructions on how to replace the battery. No questions asked. No erroneous advise given. And most important, they trusted him – the customer. In fact, Dell is sending someone over to pick up the old battery.
It’s what I call, to quote Tom Peter’s, a Wow! experience.
Contrast this with my experience with Acer – I was the one who ran around, I was made to wait, I was forced to listen to foolish advise, and I was not trusted. What more can a company do to screw a customer?

Hi Shrinivasan,
Try 1800-425-4026. You can get it serviced here although you bought it in the US.
