I’ve just enrolled for Yoga classes. The first class began today morning at sharp 6 AM. The number of students who turned up: three. The number of students who had promised to turn up: many. The classes are held inside our campus, in a hall behind the temple, amidst greenery and overlooking the lake. A wonderful setting to practise those asanas. Our instructor is Yogacharya Hansraj Yadav. Today’s class lasted just half an hour as the instructor really wanted us to turn up for the second class.

The serene setting amidst greenery has a side-effect - mosquitoes! The bigger lesson we learnt today is to dress for yoga class in track pants, full-arm t-shirts, and socks.

Good luck with your yoga path and those pesky mosquitoes! Maybe you can create your own pose - bugasana ; )
