This term, which is called the Functional Module, comprises of five subjects:
- Corporate Finance
- Marketing Management
- People and Performance
- IT for Management
- Operations Management
You might have already guessed that my pick of the lot is Corporate Finance, once again because of my love for numbers, and Corporate Finance involves a lot of them. People and Performance is a necessary subject; it helps you catch up on your lost sleep. The first class involved self-analysis through the Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behavior (FIRO-B) model. Call me pessimistic, but I simply fail to understand the use of such models. If you’re still reading, my scores on the FIRO-B say that I am a very introverted person who does not like to be in control and who expresses very little affection. Neither do I expect this from others. If you’ve ever had the chance to know me, let me know if I fit this description.
