This post is specially for readers who live in or near to Banashankari 2nd Stage.

Green Trends is a new beauty saloon that’s opened shop near the BDA Shopping Complex and which offers beauty care services using nature-based products (herbs, fruits, et al.) It’s a unisex saloon, but there are “separate private areas” for ladies and gents. Yeah, that’s what the flyer says. The flyer also says that towels are “sanitized everyday” to ensure 100% hygiene. Does this imply that on a given day everybody except the first person has to use unsanitized towels? I would definitely not want to be the last customer for the day. Shouldn’t that read “sanitized after every use”? It also says that aprons are cleaned and disinfected thoroughly before every use.

Let me know if you’re brave enough to step inside.

Address:

#2467, 24th Cross
Opposite BDA Shopping Complex
Banashankari 2nd Stage
Bangalore – 560070

Timings:

On a Weekday:
Ladies – 10 AM to 7 PM, Gents – 8 AM to 8 PM

On Sunday:
Ladies – 10 AM to 7 PM, Gents – 7 AM to 7 PM

I went to Green Trends Saloon and SPA at R.T Nagar Branch for getting a Hair Cut done ( Gents) . The saloon is quite good. The receptionist asked to me be seated for few minutes and called the hair stylist. He welcomed me with a Glass of water to drink. All modern hair styling gadgets and cosmetics are neatly arranged in the room. The hair cut for male costs 80 plus service tax at 12.34 %. A complete makeover hair style costs 120 plus service tax at 12.34 %. The service is good. The stylists know the latest cuts and styles. The cost includes haircut, shampooing and styling gel. The rates are nominal. I also took a Hair spa treatment at 360 rs.

I have been a regular customer for Green trends in chennai and the service is really good. Recently i visited green trends in bangalore which is in JP nagar. Hardly i found any professionals.. They dont hesitate to chat in loud voice even when the customer is present and is taking some treatments [specially facials and massage which requires relaxing]. The apron they gave me was stinking and sticky with wax. And they keep insisting you to take other services which you dont intend to. I liked the chennai – tambram branch the best, as it had professionals serving you, neat n clean aprons and decent ambience around.. But am so adicted to this green trends now, tho the service in bangalore is service am still hesitant to try other salons… I liked their Skin Whitening and O3 facials.. which am not sure if some other salons provide this decent.

I would appreciate if someone lets me know about this..

And Shali, the bridal pack is now Rs 6000 tax which includes bleach and any facial you choose, complete body waxing, pedicure and manicure, hair spa, threading, make up trial, saree draping, hair styling. I did mine in chennai branch and they are good.. but be careful on choosing your beautician after all not all in the parlour are professionals..

Horrible experience at JP Nagar Green Trends.
I had long hairs and i told the guy to trim the hair so that it will look neat, can you beat it he did a crew cut. I have promised not to go there again.
Another thing you guys should be care full is,before they start to cut your hair they will suggest a hai spa.

hi vinu, can u let me know any of green trends branch in kasturinagar bangalore

ramu May 23, 2011 at 7:20 AM

The Greentrendz in AECS Bangalore is very small and crowded. I went to enquire about some skin treatment. I had to wait in the lobby till some one came. MeanwhileI said hello to one of the girls. Imagine my surprise when later I got phone calls threatening me not to talk to them from some woman. Must be the MADAM who owns the place.

sai baba June 16, 2011 at 11:20 AM

Hi. The Green Trendz started by CK Ranganathan employs disadvantaged youth from local areas and tries to give hem a start in life. Maybe thats why their social manners need improvement. Also, several Porno stars work in these joints, and maybe into other practises also besides prono and massage. Just try and see. But dont blame me if something goes wrong.
(like if you get AIDS and die).

pavitra November 15, 2011 at 10:00 PM

Very bad service :-(

priya December 16, 2011 at 9:34 PM

Worst experience at JP Nagar Green Trends. I have taken bridal package there..but I am very much disappointed. They are very irresponsible. On my marriage day as decided I went there around at 4PM as my reception was at 7:30PM. As soon as I went current went off and generator was not proper. They have tried for almost 1 hr but unsuccessful. Being a professional they should have checked these technical issues earlier. And even then they were not at all tensed. Since time was less, I was so tensed and I requested them to come along with me in car as hotel was in jp nagar only but they were not ready for that. After requesting many times they came along with me and charged extra money for that. :(

Apart from this issue, bridal make up was not so good…..they dont even bother how bride looks after make over……. :(…… they made my day worst…

Sai Baba January 2, 2012 at 11:58 AM

Worst experience at AECS. Went to see about face treatment. was suggeste facial for 300 rs then ozone treatemnts. Turns out you need more than one dozen ozone treatemnts. They charged Rs 5000 per treatment. Theives.

Kumar April 18, 2012 at 4:48 PM

Well, I visited Green trends when it was called Lime Light, in BTM layout, Bangalore. gosh! what a horrible experience.. I wanted a body massage.. the guy who gave massage was NOT trianed, the Steam did not work, they did not have hot water and I had to change room to have bath… gosh! that was the last I ever visited that place and would NEVER want to visit them again..

If Mr. CK Ranganathan, the chairman thinks he has done a great job by setting up these colorful shops and not wanting to monitor them closely then he is probably mistaken. he better understand what customer service his centers offer..

Raji May 13, 2012 at 6:37 PM
