Today afternoon, I and Shruthi decided to have our coffee break at the Coffee Day outlet just opposite our office on Cunningham Road. A couple of minutes after we had placed our order, it started to rain heavily. The guy at the counter then said the most incredible thing, “Sir, since you have ordered a takeaway that is priced lesser than our served order, you cannot take a seat inside although it’s raining outside.” What an utterly nonsensical way to run a business!

By the way, the coffee shop was empty!
