I am happy to see Bangaloreans celebrate any festival at all. I am still to recover from the shock i got at last Holi. I could not see a single person playing holi. I felt like I was in some foreign land.

Raj,
Foreign land my ass! Holi is NOT a festival of the south- however we do celebrate it with our non-native Bangloreans, perhaps not with such exuberance as you would see in some other parts of India.
I would not go to Delhi and say why there are no Dassera bombes in every house.
A bit of advice to you- India is a very diverse country and everyone does not have to celebrate the same things!
Vive la Différence!
